Is it wrong to say "Aumin"?

After a servant supplicates to Allah, they say «амин» to ask for their prayer to be accepted. This practice dates back to the time of Musa ( عليه السلام ).

The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "It was granted to me to say 'amin' in prayer and supplication, something that was not granted to anyone before me except Musa. When Musa made supplication, Harun would say 'amin.' Therefore, end your supplications with amin, for Allah accepts this from you." (Ibn Khuzaymah).

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) also said: "When the imam says 'amin,' you should also say 'amin.' Whoever's 'amin' coincides with that of the angels will have their past sins forgiven." (Bukhari, Muslim).

Another hadith says: "The example of someone who does not say 'amin' is like a person who goes on a journey with others, and when they draw lots, everyone's lot is drawn except his. When he asks why, he is told: 'Because you did not say amin.'" (Abu Ya'la).

In fact, 'amin' is not originally an Arabic word, but borrowed from another language. Imam Qurtubi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "According to the majority of scholars, the word 'amin' means 'O Allah, accept from us!' and is used in the context of supplication."

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I asked the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) about the meaning of 'amin,' and he replied: 'O my Lord, accept my request.'" (Al-Jami' li Ahkam al-Qur'an). Scholars also say it can mean "so be it" or "do not disappoint our hopes."

Arabs pronounce it both with a prolonged alif ('aamiin') and without ('amin'). Either way, the meaning remains the same. In Kazakh tradition, saying 'amin' or 'aumin' in supplication expresses the intention: 'May Allah accept and reward it.' Both forms are used and carry the same meaning. Historically, Kazakhs have used 'aumin' when giving blessings. According to the "Orthographic Dictionary" prepared by the A. Baitursynuly Institute of Linguistics, the correct spelling in Kazakh is 'aumin.' Therefore, it is not considered a mistake.

There is no need for dispute or argument over this matter.
