WHAT SUPPLICATIONS SHOULD BE RECITED FOR SUCCESS IN BUSINESS?

In Islam, supplication (du‘a) holds great significance. A Muslim turns to their Lord in every situation, sincerely raising their hands in prayer. Below are some supplications that are recommended for increasing blessings, sustenance, and for progress in business.

1. A supplication for guidance and benefit in trade, business, and seeking sustenance. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to say after the Fajr prayer: "O Allah! I ask You for lawful sustenance, beneficial knowledge, and deeds that are accepted by You."

2. Supplication for sustenance: "O Allah! Owner of the Kingdom! You give power to whom You will and take it away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and humble whom You will. All good is in Your hands. Truly, You have power over all things! You are Merciful in this world and the Hereafter. You grant goodness in both worlds to whomever You will, and withhold it from whomever You will. By Your mercy, make me not in need of anyone else."

3. "O my Lord! If my sustenance is in the sky, bring it down to the earth. If it is in the earth, bring it forth. If it is far, bring it near. If it is difficult, make it easy. If it is little, increase it and bless it! Amin!"

4. Supplication to recite when entering the marketplace: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

   "Whoever enters the marketplace and says, 'There is no god but Allah, He is alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and all praise. He gives life and causes death. He is Ever-Living and never dies. All goodness is in His hand and He has power over all things,' Allah will record for him countless rewards, forgive his sins, and raise his status."

5. Supplication for increasing blessings: "O my Lord! I ask You to bless my sustenance, my life, my work, my knowledge, my time, my children, my health, and my family."

Additionally, frequent istighfar (seeking forgiveness) and regularly sending blessings upon the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) are means of increasing sustenance. There are also other supplications that can help in business and increase provision. However, a person should first put their trust in Allah, strive and work to seek their sustenance. When making supplication, one should turn to Allah sincerely, with a heart full of conviction that their prayer will be answered.
