Delete your account

Fastest way — from the app

Open the app and follow Settings → Delete account in the side menu. Once you confirm, the account closes immediately; you do not need to contact us as well.

If you no longer have the app

Write to us from the email address on the account; once we have verified your identity we will close it for you. Requests are completed within 30 days at the latest. Address: info@shejire.com

What is erased, and when

• Immediately — the account closes, sign-in stops working and your profile disappears.
• After 30 days — your name, email address, profile photo and notification token are permanently erased from our servers.
• Those 30 days exist so you can come back if you change your mind; once they pass the deletion cannot be undone.

Questions and comments you wrote

By default the content stays where it is and the author information is removed — so an answer other people are reading does not break when you leave. If you want your content erased too, tick “delete my content as well” in the app before deleting the account.
