Can the Tasbih prayer be performed in congregation?

Our sources do not include the Tasbih prayer among the voluntary prayers that are performed in congregation. Since there is no report of such a practice from the Prophet (peace be upon him), it is more appropriate to perform the Tasbih prayer individually rather than in congregation.

According to our sources, only the Tarawih, Kusuf (solar eclipse), and according to one opinion, Istisqa (prayer for rain) are considered legitimate to be performed in congregation among the voluntary prayers. Performing all other sunnah and voluntary prayers in congregation is considered undesirable (makruh). (Serahsî, el-Mebsût, 1/134, 2/144)
