Does intervening against pests that may cause harm during prayer invalidate the prayer?

Waving away small pests such as flies or bees with hand movements during prayer does not invalidate the prayer. Additionally, if there is a risk of harm from creatures like scorpions, snakes, mice, or other aggressive animals, killing these animals while praying does not invalidate the prayer (Mevsılî, el-İhtiyâr, I, 216; İbn Âbidîn, Reddü’l-muhtâr, II, 421).
