If a woman cannot find a suitable place to perform ablution, can she perform tayammum and pray?

If a woman would have to expose parts of her body that are forbidden to be seen by non-mahrams while performing ablution, she is considered legally unable to use water and may perform tayammum and pray. However, in such a situation, she should wait until the end of the prayer time to see if she can find a suitable place to perform ablution. If she fears that the prayer time will end, she may perform tayammum and pray. (Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar, 1/154-155, 235; Tahtawi, Hashiyah, 118)
