Is the basmala recited before the verses or surahs read after al-Fatiha in prayer?

At the beginning of each rak‘ah in prayer, and before starting the recitation after Subhanaka, the basmala is recited. However, the basmala is not recited separately before the additional surah or verses read after al-Fatiha. (Zeylaî, Tebyin, 1/112)
